Welcome to the Uptown Gallery Group...

It is our pleasure to invite everyone to Mount Airy's most original art gallery. The Uptown Gallery Group is a (501 c (3) organization run completely by volunteers from our community. We opened our newest art gallery at the historic Dr. Robert Smith house on 615 N Main Street, Mount Airy, NC in May of 2010. With the partnership of the Gilmer-Smith Foundation, our gallery location was moved from our Pine Street site to this amazing and picturesque house. We have a striking collection of art from local and regional artists. We invite all of you to come and visit us at our new location and enjoy the extraordinary world of art created by our out-of-the-ordinary adult artists and the local art community.
